The range of SchoolsVault services include: Cloud Backup with ransomware protection - full managed services or self-service (with file/folder recovery & full system restore options). Offer's a 'fire-break' separate data backup protecting data against ransomware attack. Hosted Servers & Cloud Services - SchoolsVault will remotely host all or some of your school servers and also offer a range of other cloud hosted services such as school website hosting and Office 365 services. Live Replication Disaster Recovery - SchoolsVault offer a range of disaster recovery solutions from simple bare-metal server system restore to full disaster recovery solutions with complete remotely hosted live server replication. 1hr 'up and running' remote access service for critical users and same-day/next-day full onsite 'up and running' system for server/server room/school disaster recovery. SchoolsVault have over 21 years experience working solely in the education sector and fully understand schools physical needs for storing and accessing data and services as well as the moral and legal requirements that schools are faced with surrounding data protection & encryption. All of SchoolsVault product and service offerings fall within the requirements of UK schools, data is transferred via secure HTTPS to datacentres located in the UK with AES encryption. All SchoolsVault services are provided with fully managed, part-managed or self-service options. SchoolsVault is an NS Optimum brand service running from its secure UK education datacentre which provides services to schools through Department for Education facilitated contracts. NS Optimum is 'Cyber Essentials' Certified for security services by the UK governments 'National Cyber Security Centre'.

Datacentre Responsibilities: All SchoolsVault education datacentre services are the responsibility of NS Optimum via the SchoolsVault brand. It is the responsibility of NS Optimum to keep systems and system security up to date in-line with its policies and to ensure live and suitable access is available via internet services.

Systems, Data & Connectivity: It is the customers responsibility to ensure a suitable secure broadband connection is in place at the customer's location. It is the customers responsibility to ensure its data is located in the storage areas originally setup to any backup service. It is the customers responsbility to ensure any onsite services or servers are switched on and running on their original configurations. Any changes to data locations, formats or system configurations are to be reported to NS Optimum to enable system changes and to ensure service continuity. It is the responsibility of NS Optimum to ensure data is secure in transit and storage within its datacentre. Data backup services will hold archived data at scheduled periods to allow multiple restore points. Data backup services will hold a ransomware protected backup - due to the nature of a ransomware backup, the data held will not be the latest version.

Managed service responsibilities: SchoolsVault data backup and live replication managed services provide peace of mind by offering a seamless no hassle service when data or systems need to be recovered. This includes initial configuration as part of a setup service (maybe sold seperately) and assistance with file/folder recovery, initiating switch-over to a live-replication server system, and/or physical delivery and configuration of live replication and DR services to the customer's site or temporary accommodation. SchoolsVault managed services do not extend to managing customer data or systems on-site at the school, this is the responsibility of the school - unless combined with a seperate NS Optimum support contract.
